Calling all Junior Scientists! Zoology or Animal Biology is the branch of science that deals with the study of animals. In this five week course, you'll learn about some of the specific details that zoologists study, such as animal behavior and how animals interact in their natural environment. Each week will focus on a different animal and will follow up with a scientific, hands-on activity and project!
Creative Yoga (GRADES 1-3)
Gail Brickman- Founder of Rhythm Revolution, Inc.
Creative Kids Yoga for boys and girls combines yoga with creative movement to maximize the natural gifts of the developing student’s world: energy, imagination, and playful exploration. Yoga and movement are integrated from warm-ups to cool downs; through music, storytelling, group problem solving, games, sequences, stress reduction, breathing and relaxation techniques. In a non-competitive atmosphere, students are encouraged to let go of their stress, develop self-confidence, work both individually and collaboratively, to explore their inner creativity, and enhance their busy lives by nurturing the mind/body connection in a fun and creative way.
