Mathletics (GRADES 1-3)

Come and play with us! See how playing sports can open our eyes to the world of mathematics. It has been proven that physical exercise benefits the brain. We will do geometry yoga and numbers exploration on the playground, so bring your pencil and notebooks, but remember to wear your sneakers and sports clothes, too! We will explore 3 dimensional spaces, angles that the body can create, and so much more! Come see how these two subjects are connected. Math and movement go hand in hand! Athletes of all levels are welcome.
Intro to Journalism: Tell Your Story (GRADES 3-5)

Who? What? When? Where? Journalism provides us with the answers to these questions for the important events that affect our lives. If you’d like to learn how to gather information, organize ideas, format and edit stories for publication, then this is the class for you! We will also learn about different types of journalism and media, including newspapers, magazines, electronic media, photojournalism, and the different type of news they present. Come and learn how to tell your story for the world to hear!
Baking Healthy Desserts with LillySprouts (GRADES 1-5)

Make, bake and take the cake! Desserts can be full of sugar and unhealthy ingredients. But did you know you can "have your cake and eat it, too?" Learn how to make yummy and healthy desserts using wholesome natural ingredients. Join LillySprouts' cooking course with an emphasis on baking healthy treats! All grades welcome!

Ninjaneering Masters (GRADES 1-3)
Master the world of Ninjago by becoming a Ninjaneer. Tame the Ice Dragon, motorize your Blade Cycle and design a Dark Fortress, and hone your Spinjitzu battle skills! In this LEGO class, Ninjaneering masters will learn real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture while in the fantasy world on Ninjago.
Adventures in Art (GRADES 1-2)
Ms. Joy Lara
Come explore your creativity during our 5 weeks of Art Adventures. We will journey into our imagination and investigate a variety of materials in fun pieces inspired by the works of famous artists and the art of different cultures. Some of the materials we will explore are- pastel, oil pastel resist, acrylic, watercolor, collage and mixed media sculpture. Please bring a smock to wear each week. Explore your recyclables and bring a small shoe box with filled with toilet paper/paper towel tubes, broken costume jewelry, old puzzle pieces, or small bottle caps for our mixed media piece (optional).
Environmental Science (GRADES 3-5)

Calling all Junior Scientists!! Environmental science studies the environment and how the earth works. Environmental Scientists often study how humans have impacted the Earth's environment and how we can reduce the impact that we have on the environment. Come join us for this hands-on, interactive five-week course where experiments will focus on earth's most important resources and environmental issues impacting our planet.
