These books focus on one or two main characters who go on a new adventure in each book of the series. In this writing club, students will create their very own characters, and take them on as many adventures as they can think of throughout the six weeks this course is offered. Students will imagine different settings, problems, solutions, and even lessons for their characters to learn with each new book they write, and they will use the writing process to help them think of ideas, plan, and write.

Yoga and movement are integrated from warm-ups to cool downs; through music, storytelling, group problem solving, games, sequences, stress reduction, breathing and relaxation techniques. In a non-competitive atmosphere, students are encouraged to let go of their stress, develop self-confidence, work both individually and collaboratively, to explore their inner creativity, and enhance their busy lives by nurturing the mind/body connection in a fun and creative way.
